Job Summary:

Essential functions:



* Ensure that deliverables are of high quality including software coding, and product & process documentation.
* Contribute significantly to solutions that deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience
* Provide quality assurance and technical evaluations on key projects
* Design software from functional requirements and specifications



Qualifications:



* Bachelor*s degree in computer science or related disciple; masters preferred
* 7+ years overall Java development experience
* Proven track record using OOD design techniques and patterns in an *Agile* environment
* Demonstrated experience developing high performance, distributed Java powered web applications and SOA solutions
* Excellent knowledge and experience building SOAP web services
* Demonstrated real-world experience using open source frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
* Demonstrated experience with latest J2EE platform technologies (JPA 2.0, JMS, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience with open source Java web services frameworks like Axis, Axis2, CXF, Jersey, Restlet etc.
* Experience developing and deploying applications to multiple application servers and servlet containers (JBoss, Tomcat, Resin, Glassfish, etc.)
* Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, Ant, Continuum is a plus
